The State of Texas requires x-rays every 12 months

Do I have a deductible for my insurance?

Most patients have a $50 dollar deductible and we will know after verification of your insurance benefits. We will send a link for touchless payment prior to your visit. This is the insurance's requirement, not ours.

With more than a decade of hands-on clinical experience, Dr. Rouse leads Open Late Dentistry & Orthodontics in Celina, Texas — a boutique-style practice built on comfort, technology, and compassion. A self-proclaimed “dental nerd,” Dr. Rouse is passionate about continuing education and innovation, ensuring every patient benefits from the most modern and comfortable approach to oral care.

Dr. Rouse earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, where he also completed hospital-based oral surgery internships. His training emphasized precision, patient safety, and advanced treatment planning — skills he now brings to general, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry every day.

Before founding his practice in Celina, Dr. Rouse practiced in both surgical and family-oriented dental settings, gaining a deep appreciation for the role that trust and communication play in helping patients overcome dental anxiety. His approach is rooted in education and empathy: helping each patient understand their treatment options while ensuring their experience feels easy and predictable.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Rouse is devoted to his family — his wife Meghan and their two daughters, whom he jokingly calls “future dentists in training.” After falling in love with Celina during the town’s Halloween on the Square event, the Rouse family decided to make this community home.

Dr. Rouse is known for his balance of humor, humility, and technical precision. Patients describe his chairside manner as warm, patient, and engaging — the kind of dentist who takes the time to explain why something matters, not just what needs to be done.

What dental services do you offer?

We provide a full range of dental services for the whole family, including general and pediatric dentistry, cosmetic treatments, orthodontics (braces and clear aligners), dental implants, wisdom tooth extractions, gum therapy, fillings, crowns, bridges, night guards, and more.

How do you handle emergencies or same-day appointments?

Dental emergencies happen, and we're here to help. If you’re in pain or have an urgent dental issue, give us a call right away. We do our best to offer same-day appointments whenever possible to get you out of discomfort quickly.

Do you accept my dental insurance?

We are in network with most every PPO plan. We recommend letting our staff do a Complimentary Benefit Check for you to confirm. Please just ask during your new patient phone call. That is what we are here for 🙂

Is there a discount for self-pay or cash patients?

We offer clear, upfront cash pricing without hidden fees or surprises. Transparent pricing is available online.

How late can I get an appointment?

We are open as late as 7pm currently with existing patients able to book prime-time cleanings from 6pm-7pm. New patients are required to come in for their 90 minute new patient visit as late as 5:30 if all paperwork is completed and insurance is verified if using insurance benefits.

How long are wait times? Is it usually busy or calm?

We value your time and strive to keep our appointments running smoothly. With extended hours, including evenings and weekends, our office is designed to accommodate your schedule and minimize wait times.

What ages do you see for dental cleanings?

The youngest patient of Dr. Rouse was just weeks old and the oldest patient Dr. Rouse has seen is 105!

We’ve created a space where patients of all ages can feel comfortable. You’ll find TVs, music, and headphones in treatment rooms, as well as a kids' game area, treasure chest, and prize wall. We also offer complimentary bottled water and coffee for your comfort during your visit.

What type of digital technology do you use?

We use advanced digital technology to enhance your care, including 3D imaging, digital X-rays, laser cavity detection, and smile design tools. This lets us diagnose problems earlier, plan treatments more precisely, and help you visualize your results.
