While we recommend a “clip-in denture” that is secured with implants, dentures that involve scanning improve the odds of having a denture that fits much better than your current denture or a “relined” denture that has been fitted over an over through the years.
Have a full smile when speaking or smiling.
If your denture is supported only by your gums (i.e. without Implants) a new denture may be necessary as bone loss and gums follow.
If your farthest tooth back in the mouth (typically second molar) is missing, and a dental bridge is no longer an option, a partial denture may be your best option.
You may have gone so long that an extensive surgery would be necessary to achieve an implant-stabilized denture. Sometimes a remade denture with a better fit is the best option at that point.
A partial denture is necessary when several teeth are lost that are not adjacent to each other. It consists of replacement teeth where necessary that are supported by a comfortable base that rests along your dental ridge.
Some partials may also include small, hidden clasps for increased stability. If you’ve lost all of your teeth on the upper or lower dental ridge, then a complete denture can be fashioned to replace them all and completely rebuild your smile.
From the moment you start the process, a friendly face will always be there to answer your questions about treatment and guide you through the process of transforming your smile.
Therefore, they are not the first choice for dental providers in instances where patients can not keep up with them.
Implant Supported Dentures and Implant Supported Full Arch Hybrids are another option, however require more time and cost. Details can be found HERE

Immediate Dentures are a fantastic option for those patients with years of bone loss and mobile teeth in an entire arch that need extraction due to infection.
Instead of having a patient wait weeks after extractions and healing, an Immediate Denture is fabricated from a 3D Scan in our office that is sent to our dental lab.
On the day of surgery, the immediate denture is delivered after the teeth are pulled, so the patient is never without teeth.
It acts as a bandage to contain any swelling and requires reline after bone remodeling has taken place (typically 6 months).
Depends on the Insurance.
Most patients need to learn how to use dentures properly and as a result, it takes a little time to get used to them. After a while, you should be able to eat fairly normally, but it may take more time to get comfortable with harder foods or sticky foods.
Yes, you can wear your dentures at night but it is preferred that they be removed. You should remove your dentures at night and this will give your gums and bone a chance to relax from the pressure of the denture during the day. If you need to wear your dentures for social reasons or to prevent your jaws from over closing, you should find time during the day to properly clean your mouth and your prostheses. You should never wear your dentures 24 hours a day without preforming proper oral hygiene. Dentures should be cleaned at night and stored in water during the night.
Things such as ice cubes and steak bones or ribs, chicken bones, pizza crust or hard crusty bread like bagels, there are no real restrictions. In fact, I never advise people not to eat bagels and such but, to be careful around the crusty parts. The angle that you bring your teeth together in the front may potentially lead to fracture. All foods are essentially doable with practice.
